As a pro makeup artist, it’s essential to be able to style hair, too. This means having a well put-together hair kit of products that you know will work for any style necessary. I’m going to talk you through the heated tools you need in this kit and suggest some solid options.
Hot tools are a staple for any hair style that needs to hold, this could be a hair dryer, curling tongs, straighteners or hot rollers and all are important to have in your kit and know how to use correctly. When using any heat on the hair it is essential to always prep the hair first with a good heat protectant, to prevent any damage to the hair. When using other styling products such as mousses or curling crème’s, these should also be applied prior to using heat.
